Love Pop Choir Otley
Prosecco Re-launch
5th September 2022

What a great success we had at the prosecco re-launch of our fabulous Otley ladies choir.

We felt it was time to relaunch our Otley group as they needed a new choir director and a larger venue. Kim, our lovely Ilkley choir director, was just the person for the job. We were also fortunate to secure the Grove Hill Club in Otley as the venue for our new Monday evening rehearsals.

Now we were all set for our fabulous re-launch!

The evening started with a welcome glass of Prosecco for our lovely ladies. Kim and Lauren, Love Pop Choir founder and choir director, were delighted to meet so many new and existing members at the launch.

Once everyone was settled in Kim got to work and soon had the choir harmonising beautifully to Only You by Yazoo.

With such brilliant feedback from the evening, our Otley group will now go from strength to strength.

Love Pop Choir Saltaire
Yardfest Charity Fundraiser
24th September 2022

After a two week delay, due to the sad passing of Her Majesty the Queen, our lovely Saltaire ladies gave a wonderful performance at the Saltaire Yardfest.

Almost £1000 was raised at the event for mental health charity, The Cellar Trust. This wonderful charity raises funds to help support people with mental health problems across the Bradford district, Craven and surrounding areas.

Our wonderful ladies choir opened the festival, singing their hearts out to the very catchy My Heart Goes  warm up (now stuck in everyone's brain at Love Pop Choir) working through the set to a This is Me finale.

What a great event, dubbed 'The smallest festival with the biggest heart' Yardfest is held in the backstreets, yards and gardens of World Heritage Village, Saltaire. It was a busy, jolly event with fabulous music, drinking and eating with friends, neighbours and friendly strangers. Even Elvis made an appearance, well an Elvis tribute act!

Love Pop Choirs Cookridge & Harrogate
The Great White Food Festival with Marco Pierre White
30th October 2022

Love Pop Choir had a spooktacular time singing at the Great White Food Festival with Marco Pierre White in Harrogate.

Performing two Halloween themed sets in both the Harrogate Convention Centre and in the stunning Royal Hall, our ladies choir captivated the audience with their spooky set list.

Decked out in fabulous Halloween accessories, with choir director Lauren 'flying' a bat costume, the first set was performed in the Mixology area. Starting with the Ghost of John warm up and working  through to a Thriller finale our ladies gave a hauntingly spooky performance.

During the interval there was time to explore the stalls and cookery demonstrations in the Convention Centre, with the Gin tasting area a definite favourite.

The highlight of the day was singing on the stage at the Royal Hall, such a beautiful venue with stunning acoustics.

World renowned celebrity chefs Marco Pierre White and Jean Christophe Novelli joined in the fun, singing, dancing and clapping along in the wings before a final thank you from the Mayor of Harrogate closed a wonderful event.

Love Pop Choir Harrogate
Food Bank Collection
20th December 2022

Over the last few weeks, our generous ladies at Love Pop Choir Harrogate have been donating food and money to our Christmas Food Bank collection.

Organized by choir members Debbie, Caroline and Zoey our lovely ladies brought in Christmas food items that were specifically requested by the charity, Resurrected Bites Warehouse. A wide range of items were donated, including several boxes of mince pies that were going spare after our Roundhay Christmas party and live stream event. Everything from dog food to children's Christmas selection boxes were brought in.

As well as donating food items our ladies also collected £35.00 for the Harrogate Food Bank.

Many thanks to Debbie and her husband Adrian for delivering the items on our behalf.
