Love Pop Choirs Cookridge & Harrogate
Guiseley Christmas lights switch on
Sunday 27th November

What a great turn out for this event, so many ladies from our Cookridge and Harrogate choirs joined in the fun here.

Guiseley Christmas lights switch on is a fabulous annual event. There are lots of stalls, fair rides, large crowds and a full afternoon of entertainment ending with the light switch on and a spectacular firework finale.

Our ladies had a great afternoon here performing a brilliant Christmas set on the back of a large lorry, a new experience for everyone. From Winter Wonderland  through to Feliz Navidad  the sound carried through the busy market and had the crowd clapping and singing along.

What fantastic feedback we received from the audience and choir director Lauren said it was our best performance yet - high praise indeed.

Love Pop Choir - all choirs
Headingley Christmas lights switch on
Wednesday 30th November

Such a special event as ladies from all six of our choirs joined together for this event which came our way quite last minute.

A small Christmas market and light switch on was held on the main street in Headingley and we had quite a crowd of Christmas shoppers and office workers to entertain.

It was slightly challenging as ambulance sirens joined in with the chorus of Fairytale of New York and buses passed by with squeaky breaks.  However we still pulled off yet another wonderful performance from Winter Wonderland to the beautiful Music Box Carol.

Ladies you are superstars!

Harrogate town centre was launching it's Christmas market and Winter fair. Decked out ready for the festive season with  a Christmas market, Observation Wheel, Ice Rink, Santa, the Mayor and even a Pantomime Dame joining in the fun.

Our Harrogate ladies choir were asked to sing at the Yorkshire Cancer Research stall, who were launching their Yorkshire Stars for Christmas campaign. Such a worthwhile cause, the campaign shines a light on the 600 people who are diagnosed with cancer each week in Yorkshire alone, as well as the pioneering medical research being funded by the charity.

Two beautiful sets including Let it Snow and Hallelujah brought people in from the passing streets to listen to our fabulous choir and donate to the charity, raising £150 in the hour we were there.

What a great achievement.

Love Pop Choir Ilkley
Ashland's school Christmas fair
Saturday 3rd December

A traditional and busy school Christmas fair was the next event for our Ilkley ladies choir.

Opening the fair to Rockin' around the Christmas tree our ladies got the event off to a flying festive start even singing in the arrival of the main man himself, Santa Claus!

Lots of stalls and activities were on offer for the families to enjoy whilst delicious aromas of mulled wine and hot chocolate filled the air. Excited children visited Santa's grotto and families tried their luck at the different games and stalls.

Yet another wonderful performance by our fabulous Ilkley choir.
