Love Pop Choir's First Christmas

What an amazing first Christmas for Love Pop Choir. We have been inundated with requests for our fabulous ladies choir to perform at so many events, things have been beyond busy, but such fantastic fun. I'm certainly ready to put my feet up for a few days over the Christmas holidays and I am sure you are too.

Everyone in all six of our choir groups in Cookridge, Harrogate, Roundhay, Saltaire, Otley and Ilkley were able to take part in many different events and we all had a fabulous time.

Over the Christmas period we enjoyed 17 events, ate lots of mince pies, sang with a dancing llama, played Singo Bingo, sang with Star Wars characters, danced the night away and performed at lots of wonderful festive events. You can see what we did and how we sounded in our separate weekly blogs.

I want to say a massive 'THANK YOU' to all our wonderful choir members and to our very talented choir directors for putting in so much time and effort at rehearsals and events, you are brilliant. You have all made this first Christmas super special for me and for everyone at Love Pop Choir.

You are such a wonderful group of people who I certainly count as my friends, not just members of the choir. At the end of the day that's exactly what Love Pop Choir is all about, it's not just about the singing and the performances, it's also about the friendship and the fun we all have in our lovely singing family.

New Year 2023

We are now looking forward to starting our New Year half term and hope to see all your lovely smiling faces back at our weekly sessions starting in the week commencing Monday 9th January. Singing and friendship is so good for our mental health so have a good rest, enjoy time with friends and family and be ready to Sing Your Heart Out in the New Year. Have a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

I thought it might be nice to pull together a few of the wonderful messages of support and thanks we have received this year so that you too can see what Love Pop Choir means to everyone. This is just a handful, there are many, many more. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know just how much you get out of choir and that you enjoy it just as much as we do.
